From our headquarters in Houston, YEP Energy serves residential and commercial customers within the State of Texas as a Retail Electric Provider operating under Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT) license #10126.

YEP Energy is a private, non-affiliated Retail Electric Provider (“REP”) in the State of Texas and was founded by highly experienced energy executives with many years of combined experience in the electricity, natural gas, and related industries. The YEP Energy Team implements advanced techniques in customer relations, service, sales, and marketing. Our team members have worked in deregulated markets all over North America and in many international markets, and have worked in Texas’ deregulated markets since the inception of deregulation in Texas in January, 2002. Experience is our most valuable asset. It differentiates us from our competition and allows us to provide superior products, pricing, and services, and unparalleled customer satisfaction. YEP Energy is committed to having the best customer service in the business. We utilize a Customer Service Plan that draws on best practices for all service industries and we use the most advanced electronic tools. Our friendly and knowledgeable customer service team is well trained, come from diverse, multi-cultural backgrounds, and are able to speak multiple languages (including Spanish & Korean) fluently. Our service function is goal oriented and performance is measured against specific goals at every customer interface point. Upgrades to our system are made on an on-going basis and so that we may continuously improve our performance for you. Customer feedback is openly and actively solicited, and we rely on you to tell us what is working (or not working) for you so that we may refine and perfect our track record with you.
Our Approach is to put the customer first. We want to provide you with a complete, energy solution that meet your specific needs. During our first inquiry, we evaluate our customer’s specific needs and then build our services around those needs. We believe this strategy is what sets us apart from other REPs in the commercial and residential energy markets. By combining the procurement of supply with various value-add services through our partnership networks, we are able to provide energy solutions to residential and commercial entities. We advocate a flat and customer-centric structure for your pricing model and believe this allows us to truly build genuine and long-term relationships with our customers.
Environment and Community
YEP Energy is doing its part to help conserve resources and protect the environment and supports a healthier and cleaner Texas through the procurement of Renewable Energy Credits (“RECs”). We offer our “Clear Blue Skies 100% Renewable Energy” plan to our customers on a month-to-month or fixed price basis at competitive rates and with the same, great, reliable service as our other plans.
YEP Energy also cares about its community and its future. YEP Team Members volunteer their time and money to the Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse organization in Houston, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America organization in Dallas, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in addition to yearly donations by Texpo to each of these very important organizations.
